Previously, if we present a modal view controller using:

[self presentModalViewController:modalViewController animated: YES]

We should able to get back the parent of the modal view controller using:

[modelViewController parentViewController]

and normally we will dismiss the view controller using:

[[modelViewController parentViewController] dismissModalViewControllerAnimated:YES];

更新 Lion 後，login 時便多了一個 "Guest User" 的物體，不是很好看。

原來它是 Lion 新功能，可以再沒有 login 的情況上給使用者可以用 Safari 上網。我當然不需要，於是要比它去掉。

方法很簡單，去 System Preferences 裡的 Security & Privacy，把最後的一個選項 Disable restarting to Safari when screen is locked 點選，再 reboot 便大功告成了。

Macbook 比 PC Laptop 其中一個大優點是 Power management 好很多，包括休眠時的電源消耗少很多，休眠後喚醒得特別快。但是自從把 Macbook Air 從 Snow Leopard 升級到 Lion，我發現很多時休眠後機子也要定住 3-4 秒 cursor 才會動，然後又要等 2-3 秒機子才可以正常運作。雖然不是很長的時間，但這個 Macbook 很好的賣點便沒有了。

原來我的 Macbook 在 Lion 更新後休眠便由 Suspend-To-RAM(S0) 轉到去 Suspend-To-Disk(S3)，於是休眠回復便慢了很多，解決方法是在 terminal 執行：

sudo pmset -a hibernatemode 0

把 hibernate mode 改回 S0，我的 Macbook Air 又再次回復醒瞓狀態！

現在經常用 iPad 看網頁，有時想print一些東西，便要用到 AirPrint 功能。起初當 AirPrint 還是 beta 時，Apple 其實是提供了一個功能可以經 iTunes 設定 MacOS 連接的 printer 可以 share 給 AirPrint 使用，而不需要一定要用 support AirPrint 的 printer。但這個功能最後是移除了，可能是應 printer 生產商的要求吧。

本身自己有一部 support AirPrint 的 inkjet printer，但是它的用墨程度真是不可以想像的，於是想可不可以 AirPrint 到另一部只有 USB port 的 laserjet printer。其實之前是有 hack 可以做的，但過程比較複雜。最近發現一個 app 可以很輕易便設定到 share AirPrint 功能。
